Snail Mail

A few months ago, @klustout asked on twitter if anyone wanted a postcard

Obviously I wanted in

Fast forward about two months before I got the postcard. I knew they sent it via snail mail but this is ridiculous.

It's hard to imagine that just a few decades ago, this was the only way people could send each other messages. If you wanted to send a message you had to wait. And people made sure the messages they do send, are worth all the effort.

Looking at my postcard now, it's nothing more than a reminder to keep watching. Impersonal and generic but appreciated nonetheless.
